What i like about this opening sequence is how the use of different video effects, distort the images and make them seem more bleak and obscure to the viewer. The use of music and other sounds also adds to that effect, things such as dialogue which has been edited (sounds like it is being played backwards) all adds to the darkness which is created in this opening sequence.
